Bar operator “nomuno” announced the opening of its new bar “tukuruno” in December 16 2019 in Akihabara.
Deriving its name from the Japanese word “tsukuru” meaning “create”, “tukuruno” is a product of collaboration with “Wine Blend Palette” service of food maker Kikkoman Corp.
With its other bars in Kichijoji and Akasaka, nomuno offers over 100 wine varieties including Kikkoman’s brand “Manns Wines” as part of its all-you-can-drink menu, and customers can also bring their own snacks or order food delivery.
The new bar in Akihabara offers its customers a “wine blending kit” to make their own original wine and share with friends. The wine blended by customers is also offered as part of all-you-can-drink menu.
Aiming to build a community of people who enjoy blending wine, nomuno is planning to add a new subscription service to its menu. By paying a monthly fee of 5,000 yen ($46), customers would get to enjoy a free “all-you-can-drink menu”, add their original blended wine to the bar’s menu, and plan an event at the bar becoming a “manager for one day” among other activities.
