Experience 3D world with AR browser ‘Sphere’
A Tokyo-based start-up, Cynack Inc, has announced the launch of the world’s first AR (augmented reality) browser “Sphere” on August 26 2019.
What is Sphere?
The AR browser “Sphere” is a smartphone app based on OML markup language. Smartphone camera captures a registered anchor and displays relevant information including music, movies and 3D animations.
The new technology is also suited for business use such as presentation of marketing content and 3D demonstration of products.
A smartphone camera can capture registered anchors on 2D objects such as posters, pamphlets and business cards. But the company plans to extend technical capabilities of the AR browser so that relevant information can be simultaneously displayed for multiple 3D objects viewed through a smartphone’s camera window.
